Track Talk – 17:00-18:00 CEST
We start to explore how designed digital-first futures impact the intimacies we share between us and the natural and artificial environments in which they shape and take place. Together with forefront artists, designers and architects of the interactive, we explore urgent global questions through their personal experiences.
Symposium – 18:00-20:15 CEST
During the symposium we take a deep dive and explore how the design technologies that advanced architectures physical manifestation into the 21st century, now increasingly infuse softer social parameters. Agent-based modelling and spatial artificial intelligence make architecture go beyond morphological ordering and embed itself directly in human dynamics. Parametricism provides the conditions for these spontaneous, simultaneous, distributed and differentiated interactions, in an arguably unbiased playing field in which participants can take control, explore and engage in newfound mediated intimacies. Are we no longer designing space for social interaction, but is social interaction designing space?
